It is a common need in several permanent crops to eliminate soil compaction as quickly as possible, stop erosion, and deliver nutrients to plant uptake levels. There is little long-term forward thinking and almost everyone wants to welcome results immediately.

A compacted, often acidic, lime-deficient soil is difficult to become an ideal nutrient provider. Any crop enhancer or soil improver to be applied should be processed, dissolved, and placed in the absorption zone. There are losses, the process is slow, and the result is often non-existent in a given year.

Compressed air is introduced into the upper 60-90 cm layer of the soil, opening a gap between the clay and silt particles. We make the root zone more friable, into which water can get in instead of air. It is the downstream water that can dissolve nutrients and become an ideal crop-enhancing liquid. In ruptured soil, the roots find their way to soil parts that are less depleted in nutrients. A soil improver and crop enhancer applied to the soil surface can move faster towards the deeper layer and become a source of nutrients for the plant without binding.

In addition to air, significant amounts of liquid nutrients can also be injected. It is an NPK mixed with liquid plant organic manure, which contains zinc, boron, copper, molybdenum, but also manganese and iron in alkaline areas. For our engineers to prepare the desired “miracle cure”, we need soil tests, leaf analysis and the agrotechnological data used so far.

It depends on the soil type, plant variety and the planned and realized yield. On a clay-loam soil, it may be sufficient every 3 years, regarding soil clay every second year is recommended. In the case of apples, a record amount as in 2018 extracted as many nutrients from the soil as would have to be replenished immediately if we want to achieve a good harvest this year as well.

The number of drillings usually varies between 500 and 1,200 pieces / ha. It depends on the physical type of soil, the number and age of plants. Up to 4-5 hectares of land can be managed per day, but it depends on the terrain conditions, the number of scarification and the amount of crop enhancer applied.
